Hailing from Adelaide, Australia, home to creative influences Sonny Fodera, The House Inspectors and The Swiss, it’s no wonder that Get Stellar has been hard at work crafting house and disco. Playing bass in the school jazz band and producing in between homework, he has been has been making music since before CDs.In 2010, he produced and co-wrote the indie disco crowd-pleaser “The Moment” with vocalist Andrew Fleming, capturing attention from the ARIA charts, Triple J and some of the hippest music blogs around the globe.By 2011 he had attained solid traction in his new hometown of Canberra, with remixes released on tastemaker labels Eye Industries, Yes Yes, Lightspeed and Schmooze, while playing for local crew Party By Jake, supporting the likes of Tensnake, Louis La Roche and Treasure Fingers to name a few.Get Stellar’s 2012 has started with a bang. His latest production “My Bassline” is a major milestone, surfacing on the eminent Guesthouse Music - home to some of the most influential house music producers, including DJ Mes, Sneak and Gramophonedzie.“My Bassline” provides a French-filtered groove with a naughty bass that skips up and down the fret-board against a dance-floor-friendly jackin’ beat. Subtle horns move amongst an elegant vocal sample that will roll around your mind like a few too many bootleg cocktails. It’s classy, it’s late night, it’s dance, it’s house. It’s Get Stellar.
